Opening Hours

Play Pals is open from 8am to 9am, and again from 3pm to 6pm in term time only.


The fees for term 2018-2019 are as follows

8am - 9am £5.00
3pm - 6pm £12.00

Age Range

Children are accepted from 4 ½, through to 15 years of age.


Pick ups are currently available from inside Alva Primary School, Menstrie Primary School and Tilicoultry Primary School.

Childcare Vouchers

Childcare vouchers are accepted. Please contact us for further information.

Flexible Booking System

We offer a flexible booking system which can cater for childcare needs that change on a week by week basis.

Child Protection

Play Pals is committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all who work with us to share this commitment.  This commitment extends to all adults and children that visit of have contact with the Play Pals site. 

Play Pals takes any concern or suspicion seriously and will act quickly and correctly following the procedures set out by Clackmannanshire Council's Child Protection Guidelines and Procedures and all staff undergo Child Protection Training.

Please remember, that anything that makes you or your child uncomfortable should be reported.

All information Play Pals asks for or stores relating to children, parents, carers, staff and committee members shall be done in line with the Data Protection Act and GDPR and shall not be discussed outwith Play Pals.  Parent/Carer consent will be sought in relation to each child regarding the taking and sharing of media such as photo's and video's and what may or may not be shared on the Play Pals media pages. 

It should be noted however that in Child Protection cases it might be necessary to pass on information about a child to Children's Services without parental consent.
