Who we are
Alva Play Pals is an Out of School Care Club dedicated to providing a service to families in and around the Hillfoots area of Clackmannanshire. It was established in 1995 and has run in Alva since then, with a new venue established in Menstrie January 2024 and coming soon to Tillicoultry in 2025.
We offer places to children from Coalsnaughton, Tillicoultry, Alva and Menstrie Primary Schools. Working in partnership with the local authority to offer as many families the best possible start by providing funding to those in need.
Aims & Values
We aim to provide quality childcare to the Hillfoots area which encompasses Alva, Menstrie, Tillicoultry and Coalsnaughton. We want to ensure that all families have the opportunity to access wrap around childcare to support them back to work and allow the children and young people a safe place to grow, play and thrive.
We will value the diverse culture of these communities and embrace the uniqueness and welcome all of our families to have their say in the way the setting is run. We will encourage a healthy lifestyle and ensure that the children have their say in what they do.
